At Kinendo, we aim to make delivery clear, reliable and straightforward. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, dispatched and delivered.
Order Processing
Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation by email.
Orders are processed during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
Processing times may vary depending on the product ordered. Some Kinendo products may be in stock and ready for dispatch, while others may be made to order, specially ordered, customised, or require additional preparation before dispatch.
If your order includes multiple items, they may be shipped together or separately depending on stock availability, product size, warehouse location and freight requirements.
Dispatch Times
Estimated dispatch times will be shown on the product page, checkout, quote, invoice or order confirmation where available.
Dispatch times are estimates only and may vary due to stock availability, manufacturing lead times, supplier delays, freight delays, public holidays, or circumstances outside our control.
If there is a significant delay with your order, we will contact you using the details provided at checkout.
Delivery Areas
Kinendo ships to locations within Australia.
Delivery availability may vary depending on your location, product size, weight, access requirements and the courier or freight service available in your area.
For remote, regional or difficult-access locations, additional delivery charges or longer delivery times may apply.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on factors such as:
- Delivery location
- Product size and weight
- Number of items ordered
- Freight method required
- Residential or commercial delivery address
- Remote or regional delivery area
- Special handling requirements
Shipping charges will be displayed at checkout, included in your quote, or confirmed by Kinendo before your order is dispatched.
For large, heavy or bulky items, we may contact you after your order is placed if a custom freight quote is required.
Bulky Item Delivery
Many Kinendo products are large, heavy or bulky and may require specialised freight handling.
Bulky item deliveries may be delivered by courier, freight carrier, tailgate truck, pallet delivery, or another suitable freight service.
Unless otherwise stated, delivery is generally to the front door, ground floor, driveway, loading dock, kerbside, or the most accessible delivery point available to the freight provider.
Delivery does not include carrying items upstairs, into rooms, through narrow access points, unpacking, assembly, installation, rubbish removal, or disposal of packaging unless this has been specifically agreed in writing.
Delivery Access
You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address is accurate, accessible and suitable for receiving the goods.
Please consider:
- Driveway access
- Stair access
- Lifts and doorways
- Loading docks
- Height or weight restrictions
- Safe parking for delivery vehicles
- Someone being available to receive the delivery
- Whether assistance may be required for large or heavy items
If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect information, missed delivery, unsafe access, restricted access, or nobody being available to receive the goods, additional freight, storage, redelivery or handling charges may apply.
Delivery Times
Delivery timeframes vary depending on your location and the freight service used.
Estimated delivery times begin once your order has been dispatched, not from the date the order is placed.
Typical delivery timeframes may vary between metro, regional and remote areas.
Kinendo is not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers, freight providers, incorrect delivery information, weather events, public holidays, depot delays, remote access limitations or other circumstances outside our control.
Tracking
Where tracking is available, tracking details will be provided by email or SMS after your order has been dispatched.
Tracking updates are managed by the courier or freight provider. Please allow time for tracking information to update after dispatch.
Authority To Leave
Some deliveries may allow an authority to leave option.
If you authorise goods to be left unattended, you accept responsibility for the goods once they have been delivered to the nominated location.
Kinendo is not responsible for loss, theft, weather damage or damage after delivery where authority to leave has been provided.
Inspecting Your Delivery
Please inspect your order as soon as it is delivered.
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or appears to have been mishandled in transit, please contact Kinendo as soon as possible.
To help us resolve the issue, please provide:
- Your order number
- Photos of the packaging
- Photos of the damaged item or missing components
- A brief description of the issue
- Any delivery notes or courier information
Please do not dispose of packaging until the issue has been reviewed, as the courier or Kinendo may require photos or further information.
Damaged Or Missing Items
If an item is damaged in transit, missing, or incorrect, Kinendo will work with you to assess the issue and arrange the appropriate next step.
This may include replacement parts, replacement products, a freight claim, repair, refund, or another remedy depending on the circumstances and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Installation Is Not Included
Unless expressly stated in your quote, invoice, order confirmation or product package, shipping does not include installation.
Kinendo products should be installed in accordance with the supplied instructions and any applicable building, electrical, safety or trade requirements.
Where professional installation is required, it is your responsibility to arrange a suitably qualified installer unless installation has been specifically included in your order.
Incorrect Address Or Failed Delivery
Please ensure your delivery details are correct before placing your order.
Kinendo is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, additional freight charges or lost items caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided at checkout.
Additional charges may apply for redelivery, address changes, storage fees, depot holds, or returned goods.
Split Shipments
Some orders may be shipped in multiple cartons or separate deliveries.
This can occur when items are dispatched from different locations, have different lead times, or require separate freight handling.
If your order arrives in multiple shipments, tracking information may be provided separately.
Pick-Up
Pick-up may be available by prior arrangement only.
If pick-up is available, we will confirm the collection location, timing and requirements with you directly.
Please do not attend a warehouse or collection point without confirmation from Kinendo.
Delays Outside Our Control
Kinendo is not responsible for shipping or delivery delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Courier or freight network delays
- Supplier or manufacturing delays
- Public holidays
- Natural disasters
- Severe weather
- Road closures
- Industrial action
- Customs or import delays
- Stock shortages
- Incorrect delivery information
- Unsafe or restricted delivery access
We will do our best to keep you informed where we become aware of significant delays.
